Hi, I'm NoVa.

I'm a student fine artist, and I make things across a lot of media — oil painting, drawing, lithography and printmaking, water media, and the occasional mural. Most of my work circles the same handful of obsessions: skulls, mushrooms, the moon, animals, and the strange tenderness of dead things.

Right now I'm deep in advanced painting, lithography and water-media coursework. This past year I painted my first mural — a big terracotta-and-green piece for Moni's in Arlington — which was also my first paid commission. (I did a mural! For money! Like a real boy.)
